Eightfold Sdn Bhd, has been certified for Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices ('GDPMD') since year 2015.
Our radiation shielding materials supplier is the earliest domestic producer of X-ray protective apparels in China since 1980, and owns 15 practical patented technologies over the years.
The quality management system of the design, development, production and service of the X-ray protective apparels was certified to both ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016.
The X-ray protective apparels has been verified to have meet the requirements of the certification marks of ECM.
Determination of lead equivalent values of the radiation protective apparels are according to IEC 61331-1:2014. We also offer optional individual test by local laboratory (Malaysia only) upon good received by customer.
Product Warranty Extendable to 3 years
All MalRay radiation protection product carry two (2) years limited product warranty. The warranty is extendable to three (3) years if the client participate to our annual protective Apron Quality Assurance Program (“AQAP”). Under normal use with necessary care, the gourmet shall last more than 10 years.
Quality Fabric
Our default fabric is Nylon 420D Oxford fabric that is 100% Nylon c/w single layer PU coating, make it water proof and easy clean.

Lead Apron Testing
All lead aprons should be tested for shielding integrity once received from the vendor and subsequently in 12-18 month intervals. Each apron should be labelled and the label shall not be removed.

Leadlight Material
LeadLIGHT apron is made of lead oxide and other composites dissolved in natural rubber, produce a homogeneous sheet that is excellent in radiation protection, flexible, long lasting and resistant to hardening. Leadlight apron absorb up to 99% of scattered radiation that reaches protected object, and the stated lead equivalency are verified by facility with require test method comply with the requirements of Standard IEC-EN 61331-01.
It is to take note that in general, Leadlight aprons absorb more radiation energy than other non-lead apron, due to the excellent attenuation capability of lead.
With our latest materials technilogy advancement, the leadsoft has become 15% lighter than those produced with old technology.
Shipping Info
SHIPPING of goods are available within Malaysia and from Malaysia to Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia and Thailand only. Our garments are packed with minimum folds and maximum protection, in special paper package to ensure the goods reach you is as perfect as it came out of factory.

Should your good receive is not in acceptable forms due to poor courier service handling, please take photo evidences and send it back to us. We will undertake the responsibility to replace you with new one.
Apron Recycling
Lead is included in the Toxic Substances List and it should not be disposed of as conventional garbage, but rather as hazardous waste. LMG (lead-free) garments are environmentally friendly and do not need to be recycled.
ESB will gladly accept MalRay brand’s Lead Light apparels and accessories back for recycling. Call our sale representative for "Recycle Return Authorization". There will be no recycling charge to you; we only ask that you pay for your own shipping if you happen to be out of Klang Valley.
